Magic Eden operates in the NFT and Web3 space, enabling users to discover, trade, and mint digital collectibles across the Solana, Ethereum, and Bitcoin ecosystems, providing access to multiple blockchains. Its platform combines crypto wallets, blockchain indexing, and real-time NFT market analytics, creator tools, and community features within the crypto economy.

As a growing NFT marketplace, Magic Eden needed a scalable design system that could adapt across chains and platforms. We created an experience centered on crypto-native workflows, featuring flexible layouts, clean asset presentation, and real-time activity feeds. The focus was on creator accessibility and buyer usability across multiple chains.

The challenges

The design system enabled the team to quickly launch new features, such as launchpads and popular collections. User retention improved due to enhanced discovery and interaction flows. The project required a deep understanding of blockchain logic and wallet-based ux. We prioritized visual clarity with chain-specific metadata and developed a component library, that can evolve alongside the rapidly changing standards in the Web3 space.

The Solutions

We developed a scalable UX and Component-Based Design System for Magic Eden, featuring a comprehensive Figma component library that supports multi-chain capabilities and Dark/Light themes. It includes reusable components like buttons, input fields, and navigation bars, designed for quick development and smooth hand-offs. Regular audits ensure the library's effectiveness, and design tokens enable live prototyping and easy integration.
